Seniors you will soon embark on a journey beyond high-school, and it’s expensive! Everyone loves free money and on October 12, 2019 there will be a cash for college workshop at Dr. Maya Angelou Community High School. On October 12  financial aid experts will be hosting a workshop to help families fill out and complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), or the CA Dream Act Application. These documents are essential to receive free money for College. Some of the things  you need to bring (unless you don’t have it) are:

  • Tax Returns
  • 2017 & 2018 W2’s or income information
  • FSA ID (for FAFSA Applications)
  • Social Security Card or number, if you have one
  • Alien registration number, if you have one
  • Individual Tax payer Identification Number (ITIN)
  • List of Colleges you are interested in attending
  • Most current bank statements
  • Any records of untaxed income
  • Driver’s license, if you have one
